As you turn your television to TNT for the NBA All-Star game today (if you’re so inclined), one thing that you may notice is there are no members of the Denver Nuggets. When the teams were announced a month ago, this was a travesty. When the teams were announced a month ago, the team sat in second place in the Western Conference.
A lot can change in a month.
It can be argued that three members of the Nuggets squad deserved a trip to Orlando. Danilo Gallinari was perhaps the most deserving, and had not a severe sprain sidelined him for over a month, he probably would have made the roster. The other two (Nene and Ty Lawson) are more on the bubble, strangely enough they have been hampered by injuries as well.
